Dota 2 Ping Checker is a simple tool that helps to check in-game ping before starting the game. This diagnosic tool tests for Dota 2 server status. Analysis takes ~10 seconds and will outbook your max, min and average ping over those 10 seconds, along with your ping live stream.

The Dota 2 Ping Checker provides an order of magnitude estimation of your in-game ping and is good to provide a general approximation of your in-game ping. Because the pings are sent via http vs traditional command console methods, the results will be a bit off. It’s useful to be used to see if you’ll be lagging in game, as opposed to finding your exact ping.

You can also run and test pings from the command line or even better, run a bat file. Simply save the file below as a bat file (i.e., ping.bat)
